Welcome to Canadian Aquatics! Our goal is to provide you with quality fish including African cichlids and South American cichlids, plecostomus catfishes, freshwater shrimps, and plants. Our stock list includes mostly young fish (F1 or F2 generation) from wild caught stocks, as well as some wild caught and domesticated livestock. If there is something we don’t have in our current list, please check our stock list in a few weeks as it changes often. Otherwise, contact us and we will try to locate the livestock you want and possibly pre-order them.

We provide an aquarium related equipment section. If you are looking for equipment or livestock that's not on our list, please feel free to contact us as we may have it and have not listed it or know of someone else who may have what you are looking for.
We have also updated our photo gallery of current and previously raised fish from our very own stocks. Feel free to take a look!

How to order:
We accept Pay Pal and Money Order. At the moment, we will not be able to accept Credit Cards and Personal Cheque payments. Orders must be sent by e-mail. Upon receiving the order, your fish will be reserved. Full payment must be received within 7 days. If full payment has not been received within 7 days, all reservations will be cancelled. Items on the stock and equipment list are subject to availability.
Local pick up can be arranged by phone or email.Terms and conditions:
Airport to airport is our preferred shipping method. This is by far the quickest and safest way to ship live fish. We will guarantee live arrival using airport to airport service with the exception of some very sensitive young fish (for example: Xenotilapia, Cyprichromis, and Altolamprologus fishes). We will always tell our clients if they have ordered a sensitive fish before the required payment. All other livestock (plants and shrimps) and equipment may be shipped with other carriers at the discretion of the client.
D.O.A. (Dead on Arrival):
The buyer will have to pick up all shipped livestock within 3 hours of scheduled arrival time. If there are any delays due to the airline company, the buyer will have to deal with the airline company directly. If there are any dead fish in the bag(s), the client will have to (A) inform us and (B) pictures should be taken with the dead fish inside the original unopened bag. Both "A" and "B" should be done within 3 hours of receiving shipment. We are not responsible for any DOA after three hours of scheduled arrival; we will work out the best arrival time to suit your schedule. We are not responsible for DOA caused by delay, mishandling or any incident by the airline company. Any DOA related to our handling of the fish will be credited towards the next purchase. Shipping costs are non-refundable and will not be credited towards the next purchase.
