Levamisole HCl
Dewormer of camallanus worms

Instructions: First do as large of a water change as you can without stressing the fish and make sure you do a gravel vacuum. Clean your gravel as much as you can as there may be baby worms in it. Treat the tank with the medication. Each 5 gram packet treats 88 (gravel substrate)-100 (bare bottom tank) gallons of water. So, when you get a 5 gram packet, add 88-100 ml of water to it and each 1ml of medication will treat 1 gallon of tank water.  Try to keep the lights off when possible as the medication is light sensitive (from what I've been told).

Continue with the regular feedings and don't do another water change for at least 2 days. Then, on the third or fourth day you can do another major water change.  I'd wait for about 1 month before I treat the tank again as you may not get all the worms in the first shot e.g. hiding in the gravel. The effectiveness of this medication will be influenced by the concentration of medication used, and the amount of substrate and organics that's in your tank.

I'd suggest doing 2 doses especially if you have gravel in the tank. Will have trace amounts of malachite green and for aquarium use ONLY.
available $15/5g

Salty Shrimp - Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+

Bee-Shrimp Mineral GH+ has especially been developed for the keeping and breeding of bee shrimp, bumblebee shrimp and tiger shrimp in an aquarium, to mineralise RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. It raises the total hardness (°dH) without significantly influencing the carbonate hardness (KH). This is especially important for shrimp originating from softwater habitats (ratio of KH/°dH: 0.06/1.0). Bee-Shrimp Mineral GH+ contains all the important minerals and trace elements your shrimp need for their well-being, an intensive colouration, successful breeding and healthy growth. It also furthers plant growth and the microbial regeneration of biological filter substrates. The danger of noxious bacteria is reduced, as these salts especially further the growth of antagonistic (beneficial) microflora.  Bee Shrimp Mineral GH+ does not influence the pH directly.

For keeping and breeding bee shrimp, aim for a pH of under 7. As soon as biological biodegradation processes start in your tank this may happen all by itself. However, if the pH remains higher, the low carbonate hardness (KH) enables you to influence the pH very easily, e.g. by the use of black alder cones or peat (both containing fulvic acids), or with pH-reducing additives.

Instructions of use:  Mix with water outside of the aquarium. Bee-Shrimp Mineral GH+ dissolves almost completely within seconds, and the water is ready for use at once. Please make sure that any undissolved particles go into your tank, too. Close the container tightly after use.

Dosage:  Use Bee-Shrimp Mineral GH+ to re-mineralise RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. to reach a total hardness of about 6 °dH and/or a conductance of about 200 +/- 50 µS (Microsiemens). For this purpose, an evenly full measuring spoon (about 3 g) to 20 litres of water is sufficient.

Measuring spoon enclosed.  Available packaging sizes:  90 g (sufficient for approx. 600 l of aquarium water), 230 g (sufficient for approx. 1530 l of aquarium water), 1000 g (sufficient for approx. 6660 l of aquarium water)

available $60/1000g

Salty Shrimp - Shrimp Mineral GH/KH+

Minerals and trace elements, Shrimp Mineral GH/KH+ has been especially designed for the preparation of neutral aquarium water for keeping and breeding shrimp. It re-mineralises e.g. RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc., raising total hardness (°dGH) and carbonate hardness (KH) at a ratio of °dGH/KH: 1.0/0.5. Especially shrimp from habitats with a neutral pH do very well in water prepared with this mineral salt.  Shrimp Mineral GH/KH+ contains all the important minerals and trace elements your shrimp need for their well-being, an intensive colouration, successful breeding and healthy growth. It also furthers plant growth and the microbial regeneration of biological filter substrates.

Instructions of use:  Mix with water outside of the aquarium. Shrimp Mineral dissolves almost completely within seconds, and the water is ready for use at once. Please make sure that any undissolved particles go into your tank, too. Close container after every use at once as this mineral salt absorbs moisture.

Dosage:  Use Shrimp Mineral to re-mineralise RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. to reach a total hardness of about 6 °dGH and/or a conductance of about 300 +/- 50 µS (Microsiemens). For this purpose, an evenly full measuring spoon (about 2 g) to 10 litres of water is sufficient.

Measuring spoon enclosed.  Available packaging sizes:  85g (sufficient for approx. 425 l aquarium water), 200 g (sufficient for approx. 1000 l aquarium water), 850 g (sufficient for approx. 4250 l aquarium water)

available $60/850g

Salty Shrimp - Sulawesi Mineral 7.5

Minerals and trace elements, Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 is the most easily soluble variant of our Sulawesi Mineral scope. It buffers the pH at around 7.5 and serves for mineralising RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc.  Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 contains all important minerals and trace elements the well-known shrimp species from this region need for their health, well being and colouration. Cardinal shrimp (Caridia dennerli) breeders have been using it very successfully. This mineral salt furthers the microbial regeneration of biological filter substrates.  Raises carbonate and total hardness at a ratio of KH/°dH = 0.42/1.0.

Note:  The shrimp originating from Lake Towuti on Sulawesi (e.g. the freshwater harlequin shrimp - Caridina woltereckae -, or the red-banded shrimp - Caridina striata) are still very difficult to breed in captivity. Thus we went to the Ancient Lakes on Sulawesi again in 2011 (after our initial trip in 2008) in order to have a closer look at the conditions in the habitat and to take water samples to have them analysed here. The results of these analyses show fundamental differences of the water chemistry of the Malili Lakes in comparison with generally known types of lacustrian waters. Here we had to completely rework the mineral constellation; the result of these efforts is the salt Sulawesi Mineral 8.5.  Less finicky Sulawesi shrimp like the freshwater cardinal shrimp (Caridina dennerli) can be kept and bred with positive outcomes both with Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 and Sulawesi Mineral 8.5. For the more susceptible shrimps we hope to achieve long-term successful breeding by the use of Sulawesi Mineral 8.5, which is practically identical to the water chemistry of Lake Towuti.

Instructions of use:  Add Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 to water outside of your aquarium. It will almost totally dissolve within seconds, and the water is ready for use immediately. We recommend adapting the temperature of the new water to that in your tank. Please make sure to add any undissolved particles to your tank, too. Close the container after every use.

Dosage:  RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. is remineralised with Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 until a hardness of around 6 °dH and/or a conductance of around 270 +/- 40 µS (Mikrosiemens) is reached. This corresponds to a slightly heaped measuring spoon (around 3.5 g) to 15 litres of water.

Measuring spoon enclosed.  Available packaging sizes:  100 g (sufficient for approx. 425 l of aquarium water), 250 g (sufficient for approx. 1070 l of aquarium water), 1000 g (sufficient for approx. 4280 l of aquarium water)

Salty Shrimp - Sulawesi Mineral 8.5

Minerals and trace elements, Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 was developed according to the results of a scientific analysis of water originating from the lakes of the Malili lake system on Sulawesi. It serves for mineralising RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. and requires some additional measures for fully dissolving. Water remineralised with this mineral salt will result in an almost exact copy of the water of Lake Towuti and a correspondingly high pH of 8.5, which also serves for greatly reducing pathogens.  Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 contains all important minerals and trace elements the well-known shrimp species from this region need for their health, wellbeing and colouration. This mineral salt furthers the microbial regeneration of biological filter substrates and raises carbonate and total hardness at a ratio of KH/°dH = 0.78/1.0.

Instructions of use:  Add Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 to water outside of your aquarium. It will almost totally dissolve if CO2 is added for a few days. On regular CO2-Quantity (one bubble per second) the salt dissolved totally into approx. 3-4 days. If you use CO2 to dissolve the mineral salt, please make sure you aerate the water afterwards for at least three hours with an air stone in order to expel the CO2! Afterwards, the water is ready for use. We recommend adapting the temperature of the new water to that in your tank. Please make sure to add any undissolved particles to your tank, too. Close the container after use.

Dosage:  RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. is remineralised with Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 until a hardness of around 7 °dH and/or a conductance of around 220 +/- 40 µS (Mikrosiemens) is reached. This corresponds to a slightly heaped measuring spoon (around 3 g) to 20 litres of water.

Measuring spoon enclosed.  Available packaging sizes:  100 g  (sufficient for approx. 665 l of aquarium water), 250 g  (sufficient for approx. 1660 l of aquarium water), 1000 g (sufficient for approx.  6660 l of aquarium water)

Softwater Mineral GH+ Minerals and trace elements

Softwater Mineral GH+ has especially been developed to produce soft water for the keeping and breeding of fish in an aquarium, to mineralise RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. It raises the total hardness (°dH) without significantly influencing the carbonate hardness (KH). This is especially important for fish originating from softwater habitats (ratio of KH/°dH: 0.06/1.0).

Softwater Mineral GH+ contains all the important minerals and trace elements your fish need for their well-being, an intensive colouration, successful breeding and healthy growth. It also furthers plant growth and the microbial regeneration of biological filter substrates. This also works for tanks with shrimps.

Instructions of use - Mix with water outside of the aquarium. Softwater Mineral dissolves almost completely within seconds, and the water is ready for use at once. Please make sure that any undissolved particles go into your tank, too. Close the container tightly after use.

Dosage - Use Softwater Mineral to re-mineralise RO water, rainwater, fully desalinated water etc. to reach a total hardness of about 6 °dH and/or a conductance of about 200 +/- 50 µS (Microsiemens). For this purpose, an evenly full measuring spoon (about 3 g) to 20 litres of water is sufficient.

90g (sufficient for approx. 600 l aquarium water), 230g (sufficient for approx. 1530 l aquarium water), 1000g (sufficient for approx. 6660 l aquarium water)

Chelated Iron

Nutrient for helping for plant growth and reddening of plants with red pigmentation. The chelated iron we carry is chelated with DTPA and is rated as stable (ie still chelating the iron).  For a much wider range of pH, whereas EDTA is rated as stable for only a very narrow range of pH, which often is outside the range that most aquariums are kept.  The more stable the chelate is, the longer the iron remains reduced, and thus better available to the plants.

PMDD

PMDD a.k.a. Poor Man's Dupla Drop Mix - is a mixture of K2SO4, KNO3, MgSO4, and CSM+B which serves as an all around aquarium plant fertilizer.  There's no need to decide what to mix as it's already premixed for you.  Each portion makes 300ml of fertilizer.  It's an inexpensive way to fertilize your aquarium plants!

- It's important to do at least 25% water changes once a week to remove excess fertilizers

- The exact does will vary.  A good rule of thumb is to start off adding 1 drop per 2.5g every few days or daily.  After a week, if you notice that algae is starting to grow, then you can cut back on the dosing.  If nothing is happening, then you can add more fertilizer, however if you are noticing some growth, you can continue with the same dosing.  By trail and error, you will discover what works in your tank.

Community Plus - This fresh and saltwater formula is our “I want one food for everything” answer that contains a balanced combination of aquatic animal, algae, yeast, and plant ingredients. It is a great choice for a tank with a wide variety of species. It features whole krill meal as the primary ingredient, which is one of the most widely accepted feed ingredients available anywhere. Everybody loves krill, which also contains high levels of chitin that are beneficial for fin development. Community Plus has moderate protein levels to reduce water fouling and satisfy the needs of a wide variety of species. 2 oz of this gel premix makes over 1 pound of finished product Please contact us for large sizes *free shipping on SOME Repashy food items please enquire

Meat Pie - The Meat Pie formula is extremely high in bio-available protein (>55%), and designed for fresh and saltwater carnivores and scavengers. It includes whole sardine meal, whole squid meal, and whole krill meal as its primary ingredients. Meat Pie replicates protein levels of whole aquatic organisms such as fish, crustaceans, insects, and mollusks as a staple diet for carnivores. Plus, it’s great as an occasional treat or for conditioning omnivorous species for breeding or after transport. Meat Pie is also perfect for use in reptiles and amphibians such as various carnivorous species of turtles, newts, and lizards. 2 oz of this gel premix makes over 1 pound of finished product Please contact us for large sizes *free shipping on SOME Repashy food items please enquire

RedRum - This Carotenoid Supplement gel premix is designed to be mixed with Repashy's fresh and saltwater formulas. Supplementing carotenoids can restore natural coloration in specimens that have been feeding on a deficient diet. Typical inclusion levels would be about 10% of diet, but the product can be used at higher levels, or even fed whole when being used herapeutically. This formula is based on our famous “SuperPig” with added Whole Krill for palatability, as well as our seaweed based gelling ingredients.

Shrimp Souffle - This fresh and saltwater “scavenger formula” is an omnivore formula specifically designed for aquatic and semi-aquatic invertebrates and mollusk eaters. Shrimp Soufflé is high in calcium, and has double the carotenoid levels of the other Repashy Gel formulas to provide essential nutrients for a strong exoskeleton and great coloration. Omnivorous species of shrimps, crabs, and crayfish, as well as many species of loaches have an extremely high attraction to mollusks, therefore whole squid (a mollusk) is the primary ingredient in this formula to maximize palatability. It has moderate levels of proteins from a combination of algae, aquatic animals, green plants, and yeast to replicate the diverse diet of scavenging species. Shrimp Soufflé is also ideal for omnivorous species, particularly as a color enhancer because of its higher carotenoid levels. 2 oz of this gel premix makes over 1 pound of finished productPlease contact us for large sizes *free shipping on SOME Repashy food items please enquire

Soilent Green - This fresh AND saltwater formula is labeled for “aufwuchs” eaters. Aufwuchs is a combination of green algae, diatoms, and small plants, along with tiny organisms such as insect larvae, crustaceans, rotifers, protozoans, and snails that live with them on the surface of hard substrates such as rocks. Many species of fish such as Mbuna cichlids, various plecos and gobies are specialized to feed on aufwuchs by scraping hard surfaces for whatever nutrients they can find. These species do eat a lot of low-caloric algae, but it is the small meaty treats that they relish and what really makes them grow and thrive. Soilent Green is a no-expense-spared blend of algae (25% of formula), combined with the highest quality whole aquatic animal ingredients, to provide a perfect balance of plant and aquatic animal proteins. Soilent Green is perfect for more herbivorous fish, shrimps, crabs, and snails. 2 oz of this gel premix makes over 1 pound of finished productPlease contact us for large sizes *free shipping on SOME Repashy food items please enquire

Spawn and Grow - This formula is designed for broodstock conditioning and the initial raising of fry. It contains high levels of fat (>14%) and Protein >45%, which gives fish that extra source of energy and nutrients they need to build the reserves required for spawning and fast growth. It is also quite suitable as a “recovery formula” for the acclimation of freshly imported fish that have become malnourished due to the stress of capture and lack of food during holding and transportation. This formula was designed to be used for conditioning of omnivores and piscivores and it is not recommended for strict herbivores. Carnivorous species that specialize in eating insect larvae, eggs, and other high fat food sources, may find this a good staple diet.

This food contains high levels of essential fatty acids and a balanced ratio of EPA to DHA. It also contains additional Arachidonic Acid (ARA), which is considered by many to be an essential fatty acid in Marine fish species that are not able to synthesize it from the conversion of Alpha Linolenic Acid. ARA has been shown to increase spawning activity, fertility, and fry survival. It has also shown to be valuable in reducing stress. The formula also contains the amino acid Taurine (directly supplemented as 1% of crude protein) , which is now considered by many to be an essential amino acid for many species of carnivorous freshwater and Marine fish . Taurine is a free amino acid that, because it is also has high activity as an anti-oxidant, can quickly be depleted in processed meals. Repashy has doubled the amount of Vitamin C in this formula compared to their regular diets, and they uses the highly stable form Ascorbic Acid Phosphate. They also included high amounts of the phospholipid lecithin, (5%) which are essential in the transport of fat throughout the body, aiding in absorption and potentially reducing fatty liver issues.

available $16/4oz

$9.00/2oz

Super Green - This formula is specifically designed for freshwater green algae grazing species of fish and invertebrates. It contains moderate levels of protein and the first two ingredients are Chlorella and Spirulina Algae. This formula contains no animal based ingredients and is Vegan. This makes it quite different from our “Soilent Green” formula which also contains high levels of green algae, but contains whole fish, squid, and krill ingredients.

True herbivores and algaevores have longer digestive tracts in order to break down plant cell walls and extract the nutrients they encapsulate. Specialized feeders like this can have difficulty processing animal proteins and fats, and they are by no means a large part of their natural diet. Tropheus, Petrochromis, Ancistrus, Otocinclus and many other species of fish, as well as specialized algae eating Shrimp and Snails, should find this an excellent staple diet. Omnivorous species will also enjoy this as part of a varied rotation.
